UFCW Canada National Youth Internship Program (YIP)
2008 National Regional Youth Internship Programs 
The National Youth Internship Program (YIP) has become the backbone of youth involvement within UFCW Canada since its introduction in 2000. It not only trains young members, but offers each participant hands-on experience that is invaluable to UFCW Canada and the program participants.
A change was proposed for the coordination of the YIP for 2008. Instead of running a 4-week national program for only 12 to 16 young members, we will be running four, one-week-long regional sessions.
We will be running a course for each region as follows (click on region for flyer, application and poster).

at the Kempenfelt Centre in BarrieAlberta/British Columbia June 8 – 13
at the Harrison Hot Springs Resort in Harrison Hot Springs, British ColumbiaManitoba/Saskatchewan June 22 – 27
at the Hecla Oasis Resort in Winnipeg, ManitobaAtlantic Canada Fall session to be announced
It is through the ongoing strength and success of programs such as the YIP that UFCW Canada continues to evolve and become a stronger union.
