Lewisporte, N.L. – June 10, 2025 – UFCW Eastern Provinces Council Local 1252 members at Labrador Marine Inc. in Lewisporte, N.L. have ratified on a new six-year contract including wage increases, benefits improvements and more.
Leamington, Ont. – June 9, 2025 – UFCW Canada has launched a new legal case challenging Health Canada’s unlawful failure to protect agricultural workers by not enforcing safety data sheet requirements under the federal Pest Control Products Act (PCPA). Without access to critical information about the chemicals they are handling, agricultural workers are unable to protect themselves from hazardous pesticides at work.

Repentigny, Que. – June 3, 2025 – UFCW Local 1991-P is proud to announce that their new members working at Lambro plant in La Prairie, Quebec, have officially signed their very first collective agreement.
Charlottetown, P.E.I. – June 2, 2024 – Culinary student Precious Agbroko is the latest recipient of the BDM scholarship. Agbroko’s husband is a member of UFCW 864 at Atlantic Beef Products. She is using the scholarship towards her first year of studies at Holland College’s Culinary Arts program.
