Many of the courses connect workers with the skills required to grow professionally within UFCW Canada’s core sectors and beyond. Our courses are designed for you to learn at your own pace, anytime, anywhere, and on any device connected to the internet.

Digital Skills

Microsoft Excel 2019: Beginner Click here to enrol

In this video series you will learn the basics in Excel 2019, including navigating the user interface, performing calculations, modifying a worksheet, formatting a worksheet, printing workbooks, and how to manage workbooks.  NOTE: A prerequisite course Exploring Digital Skills must be completed prior to enrolling in this course.

Microsoft Excel 2019: What's New Click here to enrol

This is Excel's latest version. If you have updated to Excel 2019 for Windows from an earlier Excel version (2016), you'll still have all the features you're used to—and you'll notice a few new ones as well! This course will highlight the new features offered in Excel 2019.  If you do not have Excel experience or your skills are at a Basic level, we encourage you to enroll in our other Excel Basic, Intermediate or advanced skills for the Excel version you have available to you. NOTE: A prerequisite course Exploring Digital Skills must be completed prior to enrolling in this course.

Microsoft Project 2016 Click here to enrol

In this course you will learn the basics of Microsoft Project 2016. Since its launch, Microsoft Project has helped project managers track progress, assign tasks, manage resources, and perform other similar tasks. Originally released as a web-based application but soon adapted for PC use, Microsoft Project features specifically designed tools to help you work on various projects from scratch. It includes support for the stages of project planning, resource collection and development, budget setting and analyzing, and project tracking. NOTE: A prerequisite course Exploring Digital Skills must be completed prior to enrolling in this course.

Partnership webinar

Join us for a live Partnership Webinar to learn how webCampus courses can be used to earn a Conestoga College ROL Certificate – all on-line.

We will be talking about the wide range of ROL’s (Recognition of Learning) that participants can earn with a reasonable investment of time and resources. Graduates of ROL’s bring a recognized array of knowledge and perspective to their workplaces.

In 45 minutes or less you will:

  • Learn more about how free webCampus courses can be used to earn a ‘Recognition of Learning'
  • Have your questions answered by Paige Linklater, the Ontario Learn officer at Conestoga College

UFCW Canada webCampus is proud of its ongoing partnership with Athabasca University. UFCW Canada members and their families who successfully complete approved webCampus courses may have them recognized as transfer credits towards a portion of the following Athabasca’s University programs:

  • University Certificate in Human Resources and Labour Relations
  • Bachelor of Arts Labour Studies 4-year program
