Toronto – May 17, 2023 – May 17 marks the International Day Against Homophobia, Biphobia, Intersexphobia & Transphobia (IDAHOBIT). Created in 2004, IDAHOBIT seeks to raise awareness of the discrimination and violence that is experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, questioning, intersex, and two-spirit (LGBTQI2S) persons around the world.
Halifax – July 20, 2022 – Activists from the UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces Council (EPC) joined tens of thousands of participants from across the region for the 35th Annual Halifax Pride Parade, held on July 16.
