Participate in an online survey on Gender, Work, and Pay in Ontario's retail sector
Toronto – March 1, 2016 – UFCW Canada members working in Ontario's retail sector have until March 8th to participate in a confidential online survey as part of a research project on Gender, Work, and Pay in Ontario's Retail Sector.

Winnipeg – February 6, 2016 – Susan Hart-Kulbaba, a former UFCW Canada Local 832 negotiator and the first woman president of the Manitoba Federation of Labour (MFL), has been awarded the prestigious Nellie Award by the Nellie McClung Foundation and Winnipeg Free Press for her lifelong activism in fighting for social justice and gender equality for working Manitobans, as well as her efforts to improve diversity within the province's labour movement.
Toronto – January 28, 2016 – February is nationally observed throughout Canada as Black History month (BHM) in honour of the contributions of people of African descent in Canadian society.
