Winnipeg and Edmonton – June 11, 2018 – UFCW Canada activists recently kicked off the 2018 Pride season in the Prairies, marching loud and proud at Pride parades in Winnipeg and Edmonton.
Toronto – June 5, 2018 – In Canada, the National Day of Reconciliation is observed each year on June 11 to serve as a reminder of the 150,000 Indigenous children who were forcibly taken from their homes and placed in the residential school system from the 1870s to the mid-1990s.
Toronto – May 30, 2018 – UFCW Canada recently joined our national partner, the Egale Canada Human Rights Trust, for its first-ever Identity Conference on LGBTQI2S issues.
