Ottawa – March 14, 2018 – Many Canadians were excited when Justin Trudeau’s Liberal government announced in the 2018 Federal Budget the establishment of a committee to analyze the implementation of a national pharmacare plan. However, the budget announcement left out one key word – universal.

Newmarket, Ont. – December 18, 2017 – Activists from UFCW Locals 175 and 1006A and the UFCW Canada National Office were out in full force at a York Region Council meeting on December 14 to stand up for public holidays for retail workers in the region.
