As Canada’s leading source for progressive informational graphics, UFCW Canada was the first one out of the social media gate to publish a meme that has rallied Canadian taxpayers across the country to stand up against Prime Minister Harper’s inexcusable use of public funds to pay for Conservative attack ads.
Calgary – April 26, 2013 – This past week a video was found concerning a Calgary home builder, Cal Wenzel of Shane Homes, bragging about a group of businessmen he got together to raise $1.1 million to elect pro-development city councilors in Calgary.
Ottawa – April 24, 2013 – UFCW Canada members across the country are joining the growing number of Canadians who are very concerned about the Conservative government’s secret deal with China, in the form of the Canada-China Foreign Investment Promotion and Protection Agreement (FIPA).
Winnipeg – April 22, 2013 – The New Democratic Party (NDP) government of Manitoba unveiled its progressive and innovative 2013 budget this past Tuesday. Premier Greg Selinger stated that his government's budget “builds a better Manitoba for today and for the long term, while protecting what matters most to families in an uncertain world.”
