UFCW launches Mental Health Today webinar series for Spring 2022
Toronto – March 25, 2022 – With the spring season upon us, UFCW Canada is launching an exciting new webinar series aimed at helping UFCW members maintain and improve their mental health in Year Three of the COVID-19 pandemic.


Every year on April 28, people across the country gather to light candles and wear ribbons as they pay their respects and remember the thousands of men and women who have been killed, injured, or suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents. We also honour the families, coworkers, and friends whose lives have been significantly impacted by these tragedies. April 28th was chosen to reflect the anniversary of the day Ontario passed the Workers’ Compensation Act in 1914.

New Westminster, B.C. – February 1, 2018 – In response to the various hazards that community health workers encounter when servicing clients at their homes, UFCW Canada Local 1518 has developed a one-day, occupational health & safety course designed specifically for health care members working in the community.
