Calgary – August 23, 2019 – UFCW activists and allies from across Canada and the United States recently gathered in Calgary for the 2019 UFCW United Latinos Conference, where participants shared ideas and strategies on how to empower Latino workers and build Latino pride within UFCW and the North American labour movement.

Toronto – June 22, 2019 – In celebration of the first Filipino Heritage Month in Canada, Philippine Advancement through Arts and Culture (PATAC) recently highlighted inspiring individuals of Filipino Heritage at a week-long exhibit held at the City of Toronto’s Metro Hall.
Toronto – June 17, 2019 – From June 11 to 12, UFCW Canada leaders, Indigenous members, and allies came together in Toronto for the UFCW Canada National Indigenous Peoples Conference, where participants engaged in two days of education and celebration of the upcoming National Indigenous Peoples Day on June 21.
New Westminster, B.C. – June 7, 2019 – On May 31, UFCW Canada Local 1518 celebrated the inauguration of “Salmon Arrows,” a newly installed mural at the union’s headquarters in New Westminster, British Columbia.
