Honouring Women’s History Month — October 2015

Toronto – September 28, 2015 – If you have ever visited Canada’s Walk of Fame in Toronto, you would have seen the names of a number of Canadian women honoured for their notable achievements including Louise Arbour (Social Justice), Roberta Bondar (Science/Innovation), Céline Dion (Music), and Rachel McAdams (Film) just to mention a few.



Toronto – September 25, 2015 – More than 500 attendees gathered at the University of Toronto for a live-streamed panel discussion on women's issues, and to hear what some of the federal party leaders had to say. 

Toronto – August 5, 2015 – Each year, on August 9, The International Day of the World's Indigenous Peoples is observed to acknowledge and promote the rights of the world’s indigenous population.
