Halifax – November 11, 2015 – UFCW Canada recently attended the Canadian Professional Association for Transgender Health’s bi-annual conference in Halifax. Dubbed Transforming the Landscape of Transgender Health and Wellness, the conference included presentations from leading health care practitioners in the area of transgender health issues.
Lake Simcoe, Ont. – October 7, 2015 – Recently, UFCW Canada activists joined members from various First Nations in Ontario to participate in the 2015 Waawaasegaming Water Walk ceremony to raise awareness about the importance of clean water on our planet.

Sherbrooke, Quebec – September 28, 2015 – UFCW Canada's leading program for youth, the Young-Workers Internship Program, recently completed its inaugural session in Quebec, known as SAJ, where 16 young workers from across the province gathered in Sherbrooke for a week of dynamic learning and training.
Toronto – September 25, 2015 – More than 500 attendees gathered at the University of Toronto for a live-streamed panel discussion on women's issues, and to hear what some of the federal party leaders had to say.
