UFCW Activists in Saskatchewan celebrate passage of Bill 604 – Howard’s Law
Regina, Sask. – April 19, 2013 – Labour activists across Saskatchewan are celebrating the unanimous passage of Bill 604, Howard’s Law, by the Saskatchewan legislature on Thursday April 18.

They are making a brave stand for the right to join a union and for fairness by walking off the job to protest the growing inequality between their pay and the profits of their super-rich employers – like McDonalds, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut – who cash-in and hoard the profits of a $200-billion industry.
