Regina, Sask. – September 20, 2016 – UFCW Canada Local 1400 activists, friends and family members recently marched from the Wascana Centre Park to the Regina Legislative Building for the annual Light the Night community walk to raise awareness and funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).

Vaughan and Mississauga, Ont. – August 29, 2016 – The 7th Annual Ride for a Cure fundraiser, held jointly by UFCW Canada Locals 175 & 633 and UFCW Canada Local 1006A recently raised approximately $7,000 for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
Toronto – August 22, 2016 – UFCW Canada activists recently joined community partners in Toronto's Jane and Finch neighbourhood for the 7th Annual Jane & Finch Unity Barbecue.
Toronto – August 11, 2016 – Every year the United Nations' (UN) International Youth Day is observed on August 12. This event was established in 2000 as a means of raising awareness of the issues affecting young people around the world.
