Quebec City – November 18, 2022 – UFCW 500 member, and CÉGEP Garneau student Marika Lapierre, is intent on accomplishing her goal of becoming a speech-language pathologist and as the latest recipient of the BDM scholarship award she will have $1,000 in financial assistance to help her along the way.
Toronto – October 18, 2022 – The latest recipient of the BDM scholarship award goes to UFCW 1006A member and international student Adrian Spânu who is completing his advanced diploma at George Brown College in Business Administration & Marketing.
Surrey, B.C. – August 2, 2022 – UFCW 247 member-dependent Dorsa Mir Mohammad Sadeghi is a trailblazer in her family as the first to attend university in Canada where she intends to pursue a career in dentistry after completing her Bachelor of Science degree at Simon Fraser University (SFU).
Ottawa – June 29, 2022 – The latest recipient of the BDM Scholarship award goes to UFCW 1006A member-dependent Shannon Sullivan, who is in her third year of Civil Engineering at Carleton University.
Edmonton – June 6, 2022 – The latest recipient of the BDM scholarship award goes to UFCW 401 member Aleesha Amjad, who works at Heritage Valley Superstore and is currently in her second year of the Bachelor of Fine Arts Program at MacEwan University.
