Toronto – February 19, 2015 – UFCW Canada activists joined other community members across the country, to take part in the February 14th Annual Memorial Marches in honour of more than 1,200 missing and murdered Aboriginal women in Canada.
Toronto – February 6, 2015 – February 14th Annual Memorial Marches will take place across Canada on Valentine’s Day. These marches were first held by grassroots movements and committed citizens following the death of a local indigenous woman in 1991 in Vancouver’s downtown Eastside.
Toronto – January 30, 2015 – UFCW Canada is calling all activists and allies to support the Have A Heart campaign to bring equality of services and educational resources to First Nations children.

Montreal – October 23, 2014 – UFCW Canada activists recently joined with hundreds of members of indigenous organizations, community groups and the labour movement for Take Back the Night for Aboriginal Women held at Émilie-Gamelin Park in Montreal.
