2012 Leukemia fundraising pushes lifetime campaign over $26 million
Toronto, ON- June 8, 2012 - UFCW Canada's enduring campaign to fund the research efforts of the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC) reached new highs — and propelled the total raised since the campaign began in the mid-1980's past the $26 million mark.



The widow of one of the victims of the horrific collision near Hampstead, Ontario has become the fourth recipient of a disbursement from the Migrant Workers Family Support Fund set up by UFCW Canada and the AWA to support and assist the families of the workers killed or injured in a two-vehicle crash on February 6.
