Right to join the union and need for living wage unites Fast Food Workers in NYC
Toronto – April 5, 2013 – Fast food workers in New York City need your help. They are making a brave stand for the right to join a union and for fairness by walking off the job to protest the growing inequality between their pay and the profits of their super-rich employers – like McDonalds, Wendy’s, Taco Bell, KFC, and Pizza Hut – who cash-in and hoard the profits of a $200-billion industry.


Toronto – April 4, 2013 - Two weeks and twenty stops later, a cross-Ontario tour by Students Against Migrant Exploitation (S.A.M.E.) engaged thousands of participants and visitors, and has built the way for new S.A.M.E. chapters across Ontario.
