Saint-Jean-de-Matha (Que.) – April 12, 2018 – UFCW Canada Local 1991P members working at the Auberge de la Montagne Coupée hotel have unanimously ratified their first collective agreement, which runs until spring 2021.
Campbellville, Ont. – April 10, 2018 – The UFCW Canada Local 12R24 Women & Gender Equity Committee recently held its inaugural meeting to discuss closing the gender wage gap and how to raise awareness of other inequities facing working women in Ontario.
Toronto – April 11, 2018 – On April 10, UFCW Canada activists from across the country observed Equal Pay Day – a day to raise awareness of how far into the next year a woman must work to earn the same amount made by a man in the previous year.
