Ottawa – March 2, 2018 – Despite some positives, the 2018 Federal Budget introduced by the Trudeau government looks more like a re-election plan for 2019 rather than a budget that deals with the real issues of the day.
Vancouver Island, B.C. – March 5, 2018 – UFCW Canada Local 1518 members working at Island Pharmacy locations on Vancouver Island in British Columbia have achieved their first collective agreement.
Toronto – March 3, 2018 – UFCW Canada recently partnered with Legal Aid Ontario to conduct an information session for workers and community groups on the province’s recent labour law reforms, and to educate workers on how they can join a union.
