Toronto – November 24, 2017 – UFCW Canada activists from across Ontario led the way at the 14th Biennial Ontario Federation of Labour (OFL) Convention, involving more than 1,200 delegates and leaders representing a million plus union members throughout the province.
Burnaby, B.C. – November 24, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 247 members met in Burnaby from November 20 to 21 to review and discuss proposals for the upcoming round of negotiations with Safeway-Sobeys.
Toronto – November 25, 2017 – The Trudeau government’s claim of working for the middle class has taken a hit over the last few weeks due to the release of the Paradise Papers – a leak of over 13 million files from two offshore service providers and 19 tax havens’ company registries.
