Montreal, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and London, Ont. – October 16, 2017 – UFCW Canada activists from across the country recently joined thousands of participants for the annual Light the Night walks in Montreal, Winnipeg, Vancouver, and London, Ontario to raise awareness and funds for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society of Canada (LLSC).
Quebec City – October 13, 2017 – UFCW Canada Local 501 members working at the Canadian Institute of Quebec in Quebec City have unanimously voted to join the National Defence Fund (NDF).
Toronto – October 14, 2017 – Ma Miela Fabito is one of 20 successful nominators for the 2016 UFCW Canada Migrant Workers Scholarship. Fabito nominated her 13-year-old daughter, Ericiela, as a recipient of the bursary.
