Toronto – September 6, 2016 – UFCW Canada activists were out in full force at Labour Day events across the country this past weekend, gathering with family members and community allies at a number of marches, picnics, and parades to honour the past achievements of workers and to celebrate Canada’s labour movement.
Moose Jaw, Sask. – September 2, 2016 – UFCW Canada Local 1400 activists and stewards recently gathered in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan for the Local Union’s 7th Biennial Shop Stewards Conference.
Leamington, Ont. – September 6, 2016 – Protecting the health and safety of agriculture workers was the focus of a recent workshop held at the Agriculture Workers Alliance (AWA) support centre in Leamington, Ontario.
