Hartland, N.B. – January 7, 2016 – Canada’s leading voice for workers, the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW Canada), has launched a national campaign to support the hard-working men and women at Covered Bridge Potato Chips in Hartland, New Brunswick, who were forced out on strike on January 5.
Barrie, Ont. – January 6, 2016 – Workers at The Keg Steakhouse & Bar in Barrie, Ontario are the newest members of UFCW Canada Local 206 after voting to join the union last month.
Trois-Rivières, Que. – January 7, 2016 – Workers at the Sobeys distribution warehouse in Trois-Rivières, Quebec have achieved their first contract as members of UFCW Canada Local 501.
