Thunder Bay, Ont. – October 31, 2015 – UFCW Canada Local 1000A members at the Real Canadian Super Store in Thunder Bay, Ontario have ratified a new contract that brings many gains to members, including wage increases and language improvements.
Halifax – 30 October, 2015 – UFCW Canada Eastern Provinces activists were front and centre at this year's Light the Night walk in Halifax, as their “Team Luminary” came first as the top fundraising team at the event.
London, Ont. – November 2, 2015 – UFCW Canada members and allies across the country are raving about the union's groundbreaking online education program, webCampus, which offers free online courses to all UFCW Canada members, their family members, and community partners.
Toronto – November 2, 2015 – UFCW Canada advocacy and lobbying efforts were recently reaffirmed when UFCW Canada activists were invited to the Ontario Legislature for the tabling of new legislation that proposes to make Ontario workplaces, campuses, and communities safer from the threat of sexual violence and harassment.
