UFCW Saskatchewan activists shift into federal election campaign mode

Saskatoon, Sask. – September 24, 2015 – After two days of workshops and canvassing, UFCW Canada activists from across Saskatchewan are ready more than ever to defeat the Harper Conservatives and help elect a new government that is on the side of working families.


Toronto – September 24, 2015 – Up for Debate, the UFCW-supported campaign to make women's rights and gender equality key issues in the 2015 Federal Election campaign, is shifting gears with a new social media campaign, petition, and a number of events lined up between now and Election Day.

Ottawa – September 23, 2015 – The average tuition and other fees for Canadian undergraduates have tripled between the academic years 1993/94 and 2015/16, ranging from an increase of 35% in Newfoundland and Labrador to 248% in Ontario – according to a recent report released by the Canadian Centre for Policy Alternatives (CCPA).
