Vancouver – January 25, 2024 – New UFCW 1518 members at Grounds for Coffee have ratified their first collective agreement after joining the union in February 2023.

Toronto – January 24, 2024 – On January 29, 2017, six worshippers lost their lives at a Québec City mosque. Ibrahima Barry, Mamadou Tanou Barry, Khaled Belkacemi, Abdelkrim Hassane, Azzedine Soufiane, and Aboubaker Thabti were fathers, sons, husbands, brothers, and community members.

Ajax, Ont. – January 17, 2024 – Workers at the Swiss Chalet restaurant and Harvey’s (take-out) in Ajax, Ontario have voted to join UFCW 1006A.
Winnipeg – January 16, 2024 – I am Steve McGillivary, and I was born and raised in Winnipeg. I’m Indigenous, a Cree Aboriginal from Opaskwayak Cree Nation (OCN), also known as The Pas. Growing up in the city had its ups and downs. I, for one, have had my share of experiences along with poverty as well as homelessness.
