Hansen has announced that the 2013 UFCW International Union Scholarship Program application process is now open to eligible applicants across North America. For over 45 years the UFCW International Union has awarded scholarships to recognize bright, young UFCW members and their dependents.

Cambridge, Ont. – April 2, 2013 – Long-time UFCW Canada activist and friend Connie Maile passed away peacefully on March 28 in the company of loved ones at the Grand River Hospital in Cambridge, Ontario.
Toronto – April 4, 2013 - Two weeks and twenty stops later, a cross-Ontario tour by Students Against Migrant Exploitation (S.A.M.E.) engaged thousands of participants and visitors, and has built the way for new S.A.M.E. chapters across Ontario.
