After a lifetime of social activism and civil rights advocacy, legendary organizer Dolores Huerta was awarded the Presidential Medal of Freedom on May 29, one of the highest civilian honours awarded by the President of the United States.
The final vote tallies released by Walmart at the company’s 2012 shareholders’ meeting last week clearly show growing concern and a lack of confidence in the retailers’s policies and leadership from public shareholders.
