UFCW Canada has been informed that Loblaw is telling workers in several provinces to complete a “Loblaw Reward Survey”.
Loblaw workers need to know that UFCW Canada is very concerned about this survey, and your union feels this survey is tainted and may be used as a tool by the company to undermine your collective agreements, and to cut the benefits you and your coworkers deserve and have rightfully earned.
NDP Leadership candidate Thomas Mulcair has announced his support for a petition that calls on the federal government to review the sale of Zellers to Target, and to join the www.targetfairness.ca campaign in asking the retailer for fairness when it comes to respecting the seniority, wages and benefits of Zellers workers.
A broad and dynamic UFCW Canada delegation from British Columbia, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec recently joined more than 1,000 delegates from around the globe at the recently concluded Metropolis Conference 2012 in Toronto, Ontario.
