Over 200 UFCW Canada activists from across the country recently gathered in Ottawa to participate in the 25th Anniversary National Defence Fund Convention. Throughout the two-day convention, delegates participated in plenary sessions, sector meetings and workshops.
UFCW Canada Local 1000A president and long-time activist Pearl Sawyer was elected to the position of International Vice President in December of 2013. She has been the President of Local 1000A since 2011.
