Happy Lunar New Year!
On Feb. 3 thousands of Canadians from coast to coast will celebrate Chinese New Year – the Year of the Rabbit – by spending time with friends and family in numerous fun-filled activities to mark year 4709 on the lunar calendar.
Cargill more than triples profits
Cargill Inc. – one of UFCW Canada’s largest employers and one of the world’s largest food companies – is reporting banner profits for last year. In fact, Cargill recently announced net profits of $1.49 billion for 2010, representing a 304% increase from this time last year.

UFCW Canada members, their families, and the union’s social justice partners are now free to sign-up for two new highschool online webCampus courses.
