Toronto – December 13, 2022 – Communicators across UFCW Canada’s national office and local unions convened in Toronto last week to learn, engage and share best practices and effective communication strategies that best serve the union’s diverse membership.
Toronto – December 14, 2022 – The United Nations (UN) proclaimed December 18 as International Migrants Day to recognize the contributions of migrants around the world and to acknowledge everything migrant workers do to help the economies of their host communities.
Toronto – December 12, 2022 – UFCW Canada and UFCW Local 175 & 633 joined the Ontario Network of Injured Worker Groups outside the Ontario Ministry of Labour for a rally in support of injured workers.
Vancouver – December 9, 2022 – Student-workers at Grocery Checkout on UBC Campus are the newest members to join UFCW 1518 after the BC Labour Board confirmed their successful organizing drive earlier in the month.
