Ottawa – April 11, 2022 – Workers at Centre Éducatif la Clémentine are the newest members to join UFCW 1006A after concluding a successful organizing campaign that will see 90 staff members form a bargaining unit at the Ottawa childcare facility.
Calgary – April 7, 2022 – UFCW 401 members at Alberta Distillers Ltd. proved their resolve by securing major improvements in a newly ratified contract, after rejecting previous offers from the company.
Toronto – April 13, 2022 – UFCW Canada recently launched its Disability Justice Priorities Survey in an ongoing effort to create accessible and barrier-free workplaces for members who may be experiencing disability.
Ottawa – April 8, 2022 – During the COVID-19 pandemic, it became even more apparent that workers needed a voice in their workplace. The coronavirus has further revealed the extent of the gaps in workplace protections for workers, especially for the most vulnerable and lowest-paid.
