Toronto – April 27, 2020 – April 28 is the National Day of Mourning, a time when Canadians across the country remember workers who have been killed, disabled, injured, or made ill on the job. The Day of Mourning is also a time for action, and this year’s focus is the global COVID-19 pandemic.
Hamilton, Ont. – April 25, 2020 – Cannabis workers at the Canna Cabana cannabis dispensary in Hamilton, Ontario are the newest members of UFCW Local 175 after recently voting to join the union.
Toronto – April 24, 2020 – There are many reasons to look for a job – whether it be a layoff, a desire to advance, or recent life changes. And there are common feelings that accompany this event, including fear, apprehension, doubt, and uncertainty.
