UFCW 832 achieves tentative agreement with Safeway

Winnipeg – March 17, 2014 – After months of negotiations and both sides holding firm on issues important to them, a tentative deal was reached on March 14, between UFCW Canada Local 832 and Safeway in Manitoba.

Ratification votes at various locations across the province will be held on March 23. The tentative deal has the unanimous support of the bargaining committee.
