Learn more about Mental Health with more than 55 webCampus courses

Toronto – April 16, 2025 – Did you know that UFCW Canada’s webCampus offers over 55+ courses associated with mental health? Supporting mental health wellness is a key aspect of workplace health for our union.
webCampus mental health related series include:
- Mental Health @ Work specialist: this multi-course series equips workers with the knowledge to support psychologically healthy and safe workplaces based on CSA Standards
- Mental Health Matters: in three course, participants learn about destigmatizing mental health, how mental health stigma affects workplaces, and how to be a support
- Other courses include: Working with Anxiety, Stress in the Workplace and more.
UFCW Canada has a history of advocating for worker health and well-being. Through the UFCW Canada 2019 Member Values National Survey and over 55+ Web Campus courses, we’ve supported members in identifying signs of mental health strain and shared numerous resources on workplace and community supports. UFCW Canada knows that mental health, both in and out of the workplace, are crucial for worker health and well-being. Mental health education and advocacy are key priorities for our union: as such, the UFCW Canada National Mental Health Survey is designed to better understand the effects of mental health in the workplace.
This survey is open all UFCW members, and all respondents will have a chance to win one of five $50 gift cards. Survey runs until May 11.
