Vaughan, Ont. – October 22, 2024 – The 450 UFCW 175 members at Mobile Climate Control locals in Vaughan and Mississauga began legal strike action yesterday.
On October 19, the members of UFCW Local 175 at Mobile Climate Control in Vaughan and Mississauga voted down a final offer from the employer by 62%. As a result, the 450 members began legal strike action starting with what would have been their first shift on October 21.
“Our members at Mobile Climate play an integral role in the success of this company and the members don’t accept that what the company has put forth as its final offer is the best that it can do in terms of wages and benefits,” said Kelly Tosato, President of UFCW Local 175.
