Toronto – May 17, 2024 – UFCW Outreach and Drag Academy are partnering to deliver tailored courses to UFCW members that promote diversity, equity, and inclusion.
In this session participants will delve into the fascinating world of Drag & Gender, exploring the intricate intersections between drag performance and gender identity. Through engaging discussions and activities, participants will gain a deeper understanding of gender identity, gender expression, sex, and attraction. They will also understand intersectionality, and gain foundational knowledge needed to embark on this DEI journey.

2SLGBTQ+ Bias & Microaggression
Explore the nuances of unconscious bias and microaggressions impacting 2SLGBTQ+ communities in this interactive workshop. Uncover hidden biases,identify subtle microaggressions, and cultivate empathy through real-world scenarios. Learn to promote inclusive language and take actionable steps to create a more supportive environment. Join us for an empowering session dedicated to fostering awareness, understanding, and allyship.
