Members at Topper Linen Supply achieve new contract – UFCW 1006A
Toronto – March 26, 2024 – UFCW 1006A members at Topper Linen supply have achieved a new contract, including wage increases, pension increases and more.
Highlights of the new contract include a 12.5 per cent wage increase over four years, increase payments to the pension plan, increases to Health & Welfare and more.
“UFCW representation is the pathway to securing fairer wages and working conditions,” said UFCW Local 1006A President Wayne Hanley. "With the support of their union, workers are better protected and better compensated. UFCW 1006A is the union for laundry workers and we are proud of our negotiating committee for their hard work in achieving a fair union contract for our members at Topper Linen.”
