The industries we represent involve a growing number of migrant workers as Canada's labour force changes, and UFCW Canada is here to advocate for every one of our migrant members.

UFCW representatives are here to help you navigate through the permanent residency process, and help you find the pathway that is right for you.

Workers in the agricultural and food industries can obtain permanent residency through several routes, whether it is through the Federal Government’s Agri-Food Pilot, or the Quebec food worker pilot program, or one of the many Provincial Nominee Programs.

English as a Second Language

UFCW Canada is here to help members achieve the language skills that are crucial to achieving permanent residency in Canada. Our union offers language support to our members in both of Canada’s official languages.
