Members at Islamic Institute of Toronto ratify new contract – UFCW 175 & 633

Toronto – December 5, 2023 – UFCW 175 & 633 members at the Islamic Institute of Toronto have ratified a new three-year contract.

This new agreement sees full-time Ontario Certified teachers will receive wage increases of $1500.00 and Full-time Non-Certified teachers will receive a wage increase of $1000.00. Part-time teachers’ hourly rate increases average 6% and reflect the employer compliance with achieving pay equity.
