Manufacturing workers at Amcor Rigid Packaging ratify first contract – UFCW 175 & 633
Mississauga, Ont. – August 11, 2023 – The 200 new UFCW 175 members at Amcor Rigid Packaging have ratified their first collective agreement after joining the union in September 2022.
The new contract includes wages increases of $5.00 over the three-year term, signing bonuses, additional holiday time and training and education contributions.
Workers are employed at the Amcor Mississauga facility as operators, quality control, warehouse, shipping and receiving and maintenance staff.
