Food processing members at Wow! Factor Desserts ratify new contract – UFCW 401

Sherwood Park, Alta – February 28, 2023 – UFCW 401 members at Wow! Factor Desserts are celebrating a contract victory after rejecting a previous offer and pressing the company to take their demands seriously.

“Thank you to our bargaining committee members who work in the factory,” says UFCW 401 Union Negotiator, Larry Zima. “They worked hard to ensure members were informed throughout the process and that the company understood no one would back down on important issues.”

Senior members will see an additional $14,000 in earnings throughout the life of this new contract, while members still working through the wage grid will see upwards of $10,000 in additional earnings.
