Toronto – February 21, 2023 – Muhammed Noor, an Uber driver from Toronto, is driving again after UFCW Canada representation was able to assist him in getting reactivated on the platform.

Noor had a technical issue uploading documents to the platform and found himself deactivated after years of driving for Uber. He then turned to UFCW Canada who, through the historic agreement with Uber Canada, helped him get reactivated on the platform.

“I opened the Uber app, and found that I was deactivated,” said Noor. “Someone referred me to UFCW, and I told them my story. They dealt with Uber and now my account is back on the road. Thank you UFCW.”

In the wake of UFCW Canada’s historic agreement with Uber Canada drivers can now access representation services from UFCW Canada to assist with account deactivations and account disputes.
