Manufacturing members at Fabrication PFL ratify new contract – UFCW 501

Quebec City – January 24, 2022 – UFCW 501 members at Fabrication PFL recently agreed to a new contract that increases wages by 12 percent upon ratification and 16 percent over the term of the five-year deal.

“We are pleased with the positive outcome for both parties that ensures workplace stability over the coming years,” says UFCW 501 Eastern Quebec Director Daniel Nadeau. “These members can be proud of a contract that consolidates quality jobs in the Chaudiére-Appalaches region.”

In addition to gains on the wage grid, the new contract also increases shift premiums and employer-paid pension contributions, in addition to adding two float days and a 50/50 contribution agreement towards a group insurance plan.
