Ottawa – September 23, 2021 – McGill University student and UFCW 175 & 633 member Dona Tu is the latest recipient of UFCW Canada’s BDM Scholarship award, granted annually to members and their family.

“I am so humbled and honoured to be a recipient,” says the second-year International Development student. “This scholarship will help me focus on my schoolwork by lifting a huge financial burden off my shoulders. A million thanks to everyone involved for this life-changing contribution.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their families every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
