BDM Scholarship helps recipient close in on final year of study – UFCW 1252

St. John’s, N.L. – August 5, 2021 – Medical Laboratory Science student and UFCW 1252 member Haley Drake is the latest recipient of the BDM Scholarship award valued at $1,000.

“Receiving this scholarship is a huge help as I finish my last few months of study and begin my work placement,” says the third-year College of the North Atlantic student. “It has been a tough journey throughout my course of studies but I am excited to finally finish.”

The UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their families every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
