Long-term care members at Chalet Malouin agree on new contract – UFCW 832
St. Malo, Man. – May 6, 2021 – Retirement home members at Chalet Malouin in St. Malo, Manitoba recently agreed on a new three-year collective agreement.
The new contract includes a 4.5% retroactive wage increase along with improved RRSP contributions, shoe allowance and health spending. The new contract also provides an additional week of vacation for members with over 20 years of service and a compressed wage scale that will see larger increases for those already on the scale.
Members at Chalet Malouin work as kitchen staff and as support workers for residents.
