Saskatoon, Sask. – May 3, 2021 – UFCW 248P BDM Scholarship recipient Jenise Majorenos is the latest to be awarded the $1,000 prize towards her education.

Jenise is focused on a future in engineering and is working towards a Bachelor of Science at the University of Saskatchewan.

“I am incredibly lucky and grateful to be chosen as one of the recipients,” she says. “I have a goal of exploring my passions and becoming an engineer. This scholarship will greatly help me in the process.” 

UFCW Canada – BDM Scholarship offers a total of $18,000 in scholarships to UFCW Canada members and their families and is one of more than 25 union scholarships available to members and their families every year, totaling more than $300,000 in support.
